The 2006 College of Student Ministry is now history, and all went extremely well, by the grace of God. Thanks to all of you who prayed for us during the preparation stage as well as during the conference itself. There were just over 100 participants registered representing 15 countries. For close to two weeks, students took part in classes about student ministry, the Letters of Paul in the New Testament, and Understanding Islam. Other highlights: small group time, Stations of Worship night, prayer for the nations, one on one interviews, the new ping pong table (thanks, Shannon!), coffee break, the flower carpet at the Grand’Place, and last but definitely not least: the Scottish ceilidh night!
It was great getting to know so many students from so many places and seeing them grow closer to God and to each other. It was even better seeing them grow in their desire to go back to their campuses and reach out to their fellow university students. Thanks again for praying!
