Grateful!

After finalizing the pdf, we had a video call with two ministry leaders in Canada who invited us to the Serve Campus Summit 2025 in June in Montréal. As far as we know, it’s the first time this university ministry event is held in both English and French. The French-speaking universities scattered across the Québec province, where Montréal is located, represent a dearth of Gospel presence, but excitement is building. These leaders likened the area to “a pond covered in gasoline that only needs a match to set it ablaze!” We will attend and serve in the francophone breakout sessions, consulting, collaborating and praying for the Lord to ignite a spark in the hearts of French-speaking pastors, leaders, and students that will lead to a “proclamation de l’Évangile” on their campuses.

Before we heard about this Summit, we already had plans to attend the Québec District Council event which only happens every two years in early May. This will be another strategic time to interface with francophone pastors and leaders, to reconnect with some whom Blair met in French-speaking New Brunswick back in September, and of course, represent SFC-Europe to encourage campus ministry in their context. As we had not planned on making two trips to Canada so close together, we’re inviting our ministry partners to consider a gift to help cover these extra travel expenses. If you would like to participate, please CLICK HERE. Thank you!

As we stated in a previous communication, the doors for ministry in the Québec province have been flung open to us as the needs for pastors and especially student ministry are great. (For more info on the spiritual climate of French-speaking Canada, see this edition of Worldview magazine.) Thank you for your consideration in finances and prayer. Also, if you or anyone you know are feeling the Lord move on your heart for serving in Canada, please let us know!

All for Jesus,
Blair & Dina
